            <p>Eighth grade students are encouraged to independently to work on their chosen enrichment projects.&nbsp; Currently they are participating in two different enrichment projects offered through Khan Academy.&nbsp; Students can voluntarily&nbsp; work on their assignments during study hall periods as well as during enrichment.&nbsp; Their projects are being monitored through their Khan Academy Class accounts as well as during teacher/student conferences at their regularly scheduled Gifted Enrichment time.<br></p><p><br></p></div></div>

            <h2>Seventh Grade</h2><div><br></div>
            <p>Seventh grade students are building on the block coding they began learning through the Lego Robotics enrichment of 6th grade.&nbsp; This year they begin Codecademy where several different programming languages are offered.&nbsp; Seventh grade students begin with HTML and then have the opportunity to progress to Ruby, Python, Java, SQL among others.&nbsp; In addition, these students may able able to participate in the UNLESS contest sponsored by the Philadelphia Zoo, depending on the circumstances.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></div></div>

            <h2>Sixth Grade</h2><div><br></div>
            <p>Sixth grade students are beginning this year's project based enrichment through real world problem solving through the creation of several Apps. This is a collaborative project in conjunction with the Fifth grade gifted education students.&nbsp; &nbsp;Materials and collaboration are provided through Google tools during gifted enrichment.&nbsp; These students may also be participating with the Philadelphia Zoo UNLESS Contest, depending on the circumstances.&nbsp;</p>
